Unconfirmed reports making rounds in the Nigerian social media space indicates that Nigerian singer, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua popularly known as Seyi Shay is heavily pregnant. Rumour has it that songstress, Seyi Shay is pregnant with her first child. A video of the duo of P-Square along with their elder brother and manager Jude Okoye in a disagreement in their lawyer’s office has been released. News had surfaced of their split-up after a letter Peter wrote to their lawyer Festus Keyamo asking that their contract be terminated was released. Widespread destruction has been reported in Mexico City after an earthquake registering 7.1 magnitude struck the country just after 1 p.m. local time. The country was still reeling from a stronger 8.2 tremor south of the capital on Sept. 7. The Academic Staff Union of Nigerian Universities, ASUU, has officially suspended its one month, six days strike. ASUU said it was suspending the strike till October for government to fulfill its pledges. The union directed university lecturers to resume duty from tomorrow, Tuesday. The suspension of the strike was announced on Monday evening after a meeting with the government delegation. At the meeting, a memorandum of understanding was signed with the federal government delegation led by the Minister of Labour, Chris Ngige. Mr. Ngige had earlier said both parties produced “collective agreement of action” after the meeting. ASUU embarked on an indefinite strike on August 13, following government’s failure to implement the agreement reached with the union in November 2016.

Paris Saint-Germain manager, Unai Emery, says he expects Edinson Cavani and Neymar, to reach an agreement over who takes penalties. The two players fought over a spot-kick, during their 2-0 win over Lyon in Ligue 1 on Sunday. Cavani and Neymar argued over the penalty in the 79th minute, with the Uruguayan eventually taking it, but he missed from 12 yards. “The penalties are to be struck by a few players, one is Cavani and the other is Neymar,” Emery said. “It takes a gentleman’s agreement on the ground to hit the penalties. “Afterwards, we will arrange internally for the penalties that are coming in, because I think both are able to score them, and I want the two to alternate in this exercise. “If there is no agreement, I will decide.
