SANTI CAZORLA insists not only Arsenal’s senior players speak up when the team is struggling.
Arsene Wenger’s side have been in decent form so far this season, losing only once in all competitions.
The one Premier League game Cazorla hasn’t started was when Arsenal suffered defeat against Liverpool, but on the whole they’ve flourished.
However, since the Spaniard’s arrival in 2012, he’s experienced many poor spells with the team.
And the 31-year-old claims all contributors are listened to when opinions are made in the dressing room.
"As a senior player you always try to set an example to the younger ones to help develop the next generation of footballers and that’s what I try to do in the dressing room,” Cazorla told the club’s official website.
“People often think that it is just the senior players or those who have been in the team longer who speak up in the dressing room when things are not going well.
“Generally it is like that and the older players do have influence but there are also younger players who have played in big matches or for other top-level teams and they speak up too.
“That’s how it should be in the dressing room. We are all important and the views of each person should be equally respected.”
Cazorla has been an integral part of the Arsenal side during his four years at the Emirates, although, reports have suggested that Juventus are keen on the experienced star for a summer transfer.
In the meantime, Cazorla is desperate to earn his first Premier League title with Arsenal in potentially Wenger’s final season.
